The two-day festival “Bauhaus Music. I feel air from another planet”, organised by the Bauhaus-Archiv / Museum für Gestaltung, will take place on 13 and 14 November 2026 at St. Elisabeth’s Church. Based on the theme “Sound as colour, colour as sound”, the festival explores the concept of synaesthesia and invites the public to experience sound, colour, space, physicality and movement in a whole new way. The concert programme features a selection of modernist pieces ranging from the avant-garde and classical works to experimental music and jazz. The programme will be accompanied by workshops on “harmonisation theory” at the Temporary Bauhaus-Archiv in Berlin-Charlottenburg on 14 November.
